Faux fur is a hot topic, whether it’s winter or not. And as vegan fashion continues to grow in popularity, companies such as Apparis should be on the radar. Think of oversize, glamorous faux fur coats that hearken to Forties Hollywood glam. Apparis recently partnered with Tuleste, a modern costume jewelry company, to create an Apparis x Tuleste, a limited-edition collection of faux-fur accessories, which includes their signature Pom Pom Earrings, a Faux Fur Headband, and Faux Fur Wrapped Power Coated Chain Lanyards in bold colors such as emerald green and lilac. The collection is available for purchase on both brands’ web sites.
Creative director and co-founder of Tuleste, Celeste Greenberg, said, “This was such a perfect collaboration, as we had been exploring working with these faux materials for quite some time but had always been difficult due to high minimums with factories. For this first season, our Pom Pom Earrings was an obvious must for both teams and from there we wanted to get creative with more than just jewelry. Thus, the headband and the fur-covered lanyards were born. These pieces have a bit of a nostalgic feel with the headband adding a majestic, royal look to any outfit.”
